RVA Surveyors appoints business rates manager
Greater Manchester-headquartered property consultancy RVA Surveyors has strengthened its business rates capability with the appointment of Josh Leyland as senior business rates manager.
Josh joins the firm with more than ten years’ experience in the business rates sector, having held senior roles across surveying operations and research-led teams.
In his new position, he will lead RVA’s specialist business rates surveying team, advising major clients with complex property portfolios and supporting them through the lead-up to the 2026 Revaluation.
He will also play a key role in shaping the firm’s business rates strategy, strengthening client relationships and supporting professional development across the team.
Josh said: “I’m thrilled to be joining RVA Surveyors.
“Everyone has already made me feel very welcome and I already sense the great opportunities that lie ahead for the whole team.
“With new rateable values coming into effect on April 1, this is a great time for me to join the business and ensure our clients are delivered the best possible service in respect to the 2023 and 2026 rating lists.”
Josh’s appointment reflects RVA Surveyors’ continued investment in senior expertise to deliver market-leading advice for clients navigating an evolving ratings landscape.
Anthony Hughes, managing director of RVA Surveyors, added: “It is fantastic to welcome Josh to RVA, bringing his extensive knowledge and expertise will no doubt help to develop the surveying and operations team at this point in the rating list.”
