Roofing firm 'excited for future' after HQ switch
A roofing firm says it is primed to hit new heights with a headquarters move.
Wensley Roofing has switched to a Team Valley Trading Estate base.
Bosses say its “milestone” new premises will bolster capacity across areas including leadwork and solar panel installation.
The site, on the outskirts of Gateshead, replaces a Chester-le-Street base operational since the late 1980s.
Steven Luke, managing director, said: “We’ve seen incredible growth in recent years, and this new facility reflects both the scale of our ambitions and the direction we’re heading.
“It gives us the space, flexibility and resources to deliver even more for our clients and invest in our people.”
The firm's Team Valley building was officially opened by company founder Keith Soulsby, with the company – which provides slating, tiling, felt and leadwork services across the residential and commercial sectors – preserving the original signage and logo from its Chester-le-Street office for display in its new home.
Steven added: “This move isn’t just about growth: it’s about creating a better, more accessible working environment and a better base from which to serve clients.
“Team Valley is a fantastic location with great transport links, and the new site gives us the opportunity to modernise how we work and look to the future.
“We’re proud of where we’ve come from and excited for what’s ahead.”
