Sarasin & Partners appoints regional director
London-based investment manager Sarasin & Partners has appointed John Muir as business development director for Scotland, Northern Ireland and Northern England.
John joins the firm with 27 years’ experience in business development and sales leadership, having most recently served as sales director at O-IM Investment Services.
He has also held senior roles at Baron & Grant Investment Management, Aubrey Capital Management and Rathbones.
In his new role, John will focus on strengthening Sarasin & Partners’ relationships with professional advisers and intermediaries across the region, while developing new business opportunities.
John said: “With Sarasin & Partners’ vision and commitment to tailored investment solutions, I look forward to contributing to growth across Scotland, Northern Ireland and Northern England building on the strong foundations already in place.”
John’s appointment follows continued growth for Sarasin & Partners, including the expansion of its regional business development team and the launch of new retirement income strategies.
Christopher Cade, head of UK sales, added: “John is exceptionally well placed to strengthen our presence across these regions, bringing a wealth of experience in business development and a proven ability to work closely with professional advisers.
“His expertise aligns perfectly with our focus on delivering long-term value for clients, and we look forward to seeing the impact he will have as we continue to grow in the region.”
