Housebuilder starts work on £20 million-plus site
A housebuilder has broken ground on a 114-property scheme.
Keepmoat has begun work on the third phase of its Hull-based Kingfields Park development.
Bosses say the £20 million-plus endeavour will add to 476 homes already built on the estate.
The builder is working with Hull City Council on the venture, which forms part of the Hull Citywide Development Programme, having previously transformed the ex-Amy Johnson School site into a 485-strong housing scheme.
Ben Hindley, Keepmoat Yorkshire East land and partnerships director, said: “We’re thrilled to start on site and continue our major investment in Hull.
“This will bring forward high-quality homes to support local housing needs.”
Councillor Paul Drake-Davis, Hull City Council portfolio holder for economic renewal, housing and organisational development, added: “The latest phase of this regeneration scheme represents a significant investment from Keepmoat.”
