IMA broadens European reach with Benelux office
A Leeds-headquartered creative agency is stepping up its European expansion with a new regional base designed to drive growth across the Benelux market.
IMA has launched IMA Benelux, opening an Amsterdam office to strengthen its presence in the Netherlands and Belgium and broaden its local offering.
The move brings together Dutch Moving Media and Hamilton Bright Events, two agencies within The Smollan Group, under the IMA Benelux banner.
Bosses say the new hub consolidates IMA’s experiential and activation capabilities in the region while connecting clients into the agency’s wider European marketing ecosystem.
They add that the Benelux operation is positioned to deliver a broader range of integrated marketing services beyond events and live experiences.
IMA Benelux will be jointly led by managing director Bart Manders and business unit director Nienke van ’t Schip, who will oversee strategy and commercial growth across the region.
Bart and Nienke said: “As co-leads of IMA Benelux, we are bringing together our combined strengths in activation, experiential events and commercial leadership to accelerate growth across the region.”
James Henry, chief executive of IMA, which employs over 300 employees and has other bases in Manchester, London, New York, Sydney, Gibraltar, Cape Town and Dubai, added: “The launch of IMA Benelux is an important step in strengthening our European footprint.
“By uniting existing expertise under a dedicated Benelux proposition, we can better support brands looking for both local excellence and integrated multi-market delivery.”
