Silverstone appoints Newcastle associate director
Newcastle-based chartered surveying and construction project management firm Silverstone Building Consultancy has appointed Rob Asquith as associate director, strengthening its senior team in the region.
Rob joins the business with 17 years’ experience as a building surveyor, having previously worked at Gleeds and spending nearly a decade at Hollis.
Based in Silverstone’s Newcastle office, he will lead the delivery of commercial property construction projects, including new builds, extensions, refurbishments and fit-outs.
He will also provide building and dilapidations surveys, offering practical, commercially focused advice to clients across the commercial property sector.
Rob said: “I had heard great things about Silverstone from people I already know in the team, and also from mutual clients so I was really pleased when a position came up.
“I’m looking forward to working with their great client base, including Hitachi.”
Silverstone Building Consultancy operates from offices in Newcastle, Leeds and London and works with a range of national and regional clients across commercial, industrial and education sectors.
Richard Farrey, managing director at Silverstone Building Consultancy, added: “Rob is a very capable surveyor who can immediately start adding value to our clients so we’re delighted to have him on the team.”
