Grainger hails 'milestone' £68.4 million capital deal
A national residential landlord has agreed a £68.4 million capital city deal.
Grainger is set to buy a 195-home build-to-rent scheme in West London.
Bosses say the agreement marks a “milestone” moment for its London portfolio.
Set for ex-railway land on Acton’s Bollo Lane, they add the Chiswick Reach venture will be delivered through its Connected Living London arm alongside Places for London and builder Barratt Redrow.
Building work on the scheme – which will include 95 discounted market rent homes, co-working space, a gym and commercial space spanning 4299sq ft – is set to begin in the first quarter of the year.
Construction is earmarked for completion by late 2028.
Helen Gordon, chief executive at Newcastle-headquartered Grainger, said: “We are pleased to announce this strategic milestone in our partnership with Places for London.
“This scheme further strengthens our London portfolio, complements our growing cluster in West London and demonstrates continued momentum in Connected Living London.
“Working alongside Barratt Redrow also represents an exciting development in our approach to delivery partners.”
Grainger has further offices in London, Birmingham, Salford and Aldershot.
