OGL Software appoints chief technology officer
ERP software provider OGL Software has appointed Andrew Davies as chief technology officer, strengthening its executive team as the company prepares for its 50th anniversary and its next phase of growth.
Based in Stourport-on-Severn, in Worcestershire, OGL Software achieved more than ten per cent growth in 2025 and continues to build momentum following the launch of its Profit4 ERP platform.
Andrew, who has been with the company for 36 years, steps up from his role as head of product engineering, where he led the development and evolution of Profit4.
Under his leadership, the platform has become a leading ERP solution for UK stockists, distributors and wholesalers, supported by a dedicated in-house development team.
Recent investment has seen the introduction of a fully integrated warehouse management system alongside enhanced AI-driven reporting tools, with further developments scheduled for launch in 2026.
As chief technology officer, Andrew will work closely with chief commercial officer Claire Jones and the wider executive team to drive innovation, support long-term growth and ensure Profit4 continues to deliver strong functionality and value for customers.
Andrew said: “I’m delighted to take on the role of chief technology officer at OGL.
“Debbie’s trust in me after 36 years together at OGL means a great deal, as does the incredible support Sharon Moreno (chief operating officer) has given me throughout my time leading product engineering.
“I’m fortunate to work with outstanding teams across product engineering and our web platform, who share my passion for building great products for our customers.
“The innovation we’re driving with Profit4, and the opportunities ahead of us, genuinely excite me.
“I can’t wait to see what we’ll achieve together.”
Debbie Barton, chief executive, added: “I am absolutely delighted to promote Andrew to the role of chief technology officer.
“Having successfully undertaken the role of head of product engineering for the past four years, this promotion reflects his crucial role in shaping the future of Profit4.
“With his wealth of product innovation and commercial experience at OGL Software, Andrew is best placed to shape our technical future.”
