COAT Facilities Group appoints business development manager
West Midlands-headquartered COAT Facilities Group has appointed Robert Wollerton as group business development manager to support the next phase of its growth strategy.
Robert has more than 20 years’ experience across sales and commercial management roles within the air and water hygiene sector and specialist maintenance services.
His background includes senior positions at Hey Services Group, where he supported growth across cleaning, sealing and maintenance operations.
In his new role, Robert will oversee sales and commercial activity across COAT Facilities Group’s portfolio of five brands, supporting revenue growth and strengthening the group’s position within the facilities management sector.
Robert said: “I’m really excited to join Coat Facilities Group at such a transformative time for the business and am looking forward to working closely with Adam, Helen and the wider team to accelerate growth, build long-term client partnerships and support Coat’s vision of becoming the leading direct labour facilities management provider across the UK.”
Robert’s appointment follows the recent acquisition of the business by Tendra Technical Services, a newly established group bringing together UK technical services companies across the built environment.
COAT Facilities Group operates nationwide from its West Midlands base, delivering facilities management services including technical maintenance, energy management and security solutions through a directly employed workforce of more than 150 engineers and technical managers.
Adam Atkins, group chief executive of Coat Facilities Group, added: “Helen and I are delighted to welcome Robert to Coat Facilities Group at such an exciting and pivotal stage in our growth journey.
“His proven track record in business development together with his deep understanding of the facilities management and hygiene sectors, makes him an excellent addition to the business and I am in no doubt he will play a key role in strengthening our commercial strategy and helping us achieve our ambitious revenue targets.”
