Lovell appoints partnerships head
Partnerships housebuilder Lovell has appointed Chantel Cresswell as head of partnerships to support growing demand for joint venture developments across the West Midlands.
Chantel returns to Lovell following a previous role with the business in 2022 and brings more than ten years’ experience across open market and partnership housing.
She joins from Homes England, where she most recently held the role of senior manager of strategic partners.
In her new position, Chantel will be responsible for driving growth across the West Midlands, using her understanding of regional delivery and national housing policy to support high-quality development in areas of strong demand.
She will focus on strengthening existing relationships and developing new partnerships with registered providers, local authorities and housing associations.
Chantel said: “This feels like the right time to return to the partnerships market, with the new ten-year Social and Affordable Homes Programme (SAHP) getting underway and strong demand driving the need for rapid delivery.
“It’s an exciting time to be back at Lovell and to support the business through this next phase.
“While Lovell operates nationally, its decentralised philosophy empowers regional teams and fosters strong, focused local relationships, enabling a deep understanding of regional needs and nuances and helping to build long-term, trusted partnerships.”
Chantel’s appointment supports Lovell’s continued investment in senior expertise as it expands its partnerships-led housing delivery across the region.
Stuart Penn, regional managing director at Lovell, added: “Chantel’s experience gives her a deep understanding of the partnerships sector and how to support delivery on the ground, making her a true asset to the team.
“There are lots of opportunities ahead, especially with SAHP and devolution in the region, she will play a key role in ensuring partners are fully supported, paving the way for successful regional development.”
