Murgitroyd strengthens leadership team
Full-service intellectual property firm Murgitroyd has strengthened its senior leadership team with three executive appointments, supporting its continued growth across the UK and Europe.
The firm, which has offices in Aberdeen, Belfast, Cambridge, Cardiff, Glasgow, London, Milton Keynes, Southampton and Yorkshire, plus an extensive European office network, has appointed Camilla Jagger as chief operating officer, David Goldsby as chief technology officer and Russell Flanders as commercial director.
The appointments add significant operational, technology and commercial expertise to Murgitroyd’s leadership team.
Camilla joins from DLA Piper, where she served as head of operations for the UK.
David arrives from Tetra Tech RPS, where he held the role of chief technology officer, while Russell joins from Eversheds Sutherland, having previously led business development and marketing.
All three bring extensive experience of managing and scaling professional services businesses.
Their appointments will play a key role in supporting Murgitroyd’s ambition to strengthen its position as a leading intellectual property partner for innovative organisations worldwide.
Gordon Stark, chief executive at Murgitroyd, said: “For 50 years, Murgitroyd has helped innovators protect and maximise the value of their ideas.
“The appointments of Camilla, David and Russell significantly strengthen how we operate, how we innovate and how we work with clients.
“Their combined experience enhances our ability to deliver consistently high‑quality, technology‑enabled IP services at scale – ensuring our clients can make better, faster and more confident decisions about their intellectual property, wherever they do business in the world.”
