NWBLT welcomes three new representatives
Business leadership organisation the North West Business Leadership Team (NWBLT) has welcomed three new representatives, strengthening its leadership network across Manchester and Liverpool.
Tim Griggs, an Arup director based in Manchester, joins the organisation bringing expertise in digital services and major infrastructure delivery.
He leads Arup’s digital services business and is UKIMEA lead for digital aviation, with experience spanning aviation, water and nuclear projects.
Tim also holds a number of board and advisory roles across business and education.
Professor Richard Black, provost and deputy vice-chancellor at the University of Liverpool, has also joined the NWBLT.
He provides leadership on strategic planning and resourcing at the university and brings extensive experience in civic engagement, international development and public policy.
Completing the trio is Professor John Holden, vice-president for civic engagement and innovation at the University of Manchester.
John brings a strong background in regional innovation, economic strategy and partnership development across the North West and beyond.
NWBLT chair Chris Woodroofe said: “We are delighted to welcome Tim Griggs, Professor John Holden and Professor Richard Black as representatives to the NWBLT.
“Each brings outstanding expertise spanning major infrastructure delivery, digital innovation, skills and talent, and the civic and economic role of our universities.
“Their collective experience will significantly strengthen our ability to bring business, academia and the public sector together to drive productivity, inclusive growth and long-term prosperity across the North West.”
