Rex Software appoints CPTO
International proptech company Rex Software has appointed Dr Liron Nehmadi as chief product and technology officer, leading product, development and design across the Rex group.
Rex Software, which is headquartered in Newstead, in Queensland, with a UK office in London, operates an all-in-one estate agency platform and confirmed the appointment following a period of rapid growth, including new product launches, acquisitions and a group-wide rebrand that brought its expanding technology portfolio under a single identity.
Liron brings extensive experience across product and engineering leadership.
He joins from AI-driven risk intelligence platform EverC, where he served as vice president, and has previously held senior product roles at a number of global technology businesses.
His background includes three years as chief product officer at Catch of the Day, where he led product, development, UI and analytics during a period of significant scale-up.
During his tenure, the business grew revenue substantially before being acquired by Wesfarmers.
Liron said: “I’m excited to join Rex as CPTO at a time of real momentum, both for the business and for the real estate industry more broadly.
“The plans we have for 2026 and beyond are ambitious but grounded in what customers actually need.
“The market is telling us that agencies are overwhelmed by AI – there’s a lot of noise, but very little clarity.
“Our role is to cut through that complexity and deliver tangible, integrated AI capabilities that fit naturally into day-to-day workflows and drive real operational impact.”
Tom Ainsworth, chief revenue officer at Rex, added: “This has been a pivotal year for Rex.
“We’ve expanded our product suite, unified our brand, and set a clear direction for what comes next.
“Our focus now is on delivering intentional, practical AI workflows that genuinely improve how agencies operate, not AI for the sake of it.
“Liron’s appointment is a critical step in accelerating that roadmap and turning ambition into execution.”
