Consultus Group expands commercial team
Leicester-headquartered energy and sustainability consultancy Consultus Group has strengthened its commercial team with seven new appointments, supporting continued growth across its core sectors.
The firm has recruited four new business development managers, with Dan Downes, Jo Little, Sam Ellul and Sam Taylor joining the team.
Together, they bring more than 20 years’ experience and will focus on driving service growth and supporting clients across a range of sectors.
They join existing business development managers George Bragg and Paul Cox, with Paul also taking on the additional role of sales manager.
Dan said: “UK businesses are being forced to react and adapt to government legislation and pressures around net-zero.
“With our expert-led team in operation, we are now in an even better position to support clients with the right technical and sector-specific knowledge – whether that’s in manufacturing, hospitality or our growing construction sector client base.”
Consultus Group has also appointed three business development executives, Alicia Bailey, Olivia Spatcher and Jak Greene, to support day-to-day enquiries and new business activity.
Paul added: “Having worked at Consultus Group for 20 years, I’ve seen how the energy market has changed and how our business has adapted to support clients through this.
“We’re committed to remaining a consultative partner to our clients, offering expert insight for whatever stage in their energy journey they are at.
“We’ve assembled a fantastic team of experts, and this refresh firmly cements our approach to driving real impact for businesses.”
The appointments strengthen the firm’s ability to support organisations navigating sustainability, decarbonisation and net-zero pressures, building on Consultus Group’s position as one of the UK’s top-ranked energy and sustainability consultancies.
Sam Buckingham, head of direct sales at Consultus Group, added: “We’re excited to build on our established sector experience with a team refresh and some highly experienced new recruits.
“High-quality client service is integral to our offering, and we hope that this will allow us to deepen partnerships, refine our offering and deliver insights and solutions that are tailored to the individual challenges faced by the variety of sectors we serve.”
