Creative agencies unveil 'defining milestone' merger
Two creative agencies have unveiled a merger.
Fishtank Agency and Wild PR are set to join forces.
Bosses say the move marks a “generational opportunity to scale, invest in talent and bring together complementary services”.
Under the terms of the deal – which officials say will create a 20-plus team – Wild PR will operate under Fishtank Agency’s name and branding, with the enlarged venture providing services from a base in Mirfield, near Huddersfield.
The move formalises a relationship between company founders Damien Fisher and Katrina Cliffe, who have worked together on several client projects over the last decade.
Damien, Fishtank Agency founder and managing director, said: “This is a defining milestone for Fishtank and a powerful signal of where the business is heading.
“As the industry navigates the early stages of the artificial intelligence revolution, many agencies are retrenching to reduce risk.
“We see something very different.”
Katrina, Wild PR founder, added: “Having worked successfully alongside each other for a number of years, the joining of forces has often come up in conversation.
“As the marketing industry evolves at its fastest pace yet, the timing feels right, especially as it will allow us to provide a greater level of expertise across our joint client base.”
