AlphaGraphics signs up specialist signage arm
A Stockton-on-Tees-based signage and print business has expanded its capabilities following an acquisition.
AlphaGraphics has bought the sign and engraving divisions of North East specialist N Sign.
The deal includes the N Sign brand, website and customer portfolio for those divisions, while Alun Pearson, the current owner of N Sign, will retain and continue to operate the street signage and pharmacy cross sectors of the business independently.
Bosses say the deal will strengthen AlphaGraphics’ offer in specialist fabrication, engraving and bespoke signage, while ensuring continuity for existing customers.
They add the N Sign identity will be retained, while production will be integrated into AlphaGraphics’ wider network and all existing staff will transfer as part of the transaction.
Customers will also gain access to AlphaGraphics’ broader large-format print services.
Sean Costigan, director at AlphaGraphics, said: “N Sign has built a fantastic reputation over many years, particularly in bespoke sign manufacture and engraving.
“Bringing their expertise, brand, and loyal customer base into the AlphaGraphics family is a natural fit that supports our long-term strategy to broaden our specialist signage capabilities.
“This acquisition allows us to combine the strong engineering skillset of N Sign with the national scale, technology, and service infrastructure of AlphaGraphics.
“We’re excited to continue delivering exceptional quality and support to all N Sign customers as we integrate and invest further in this area.”
