Pegasus Group appoints Glasgow planning team
Multidisciplinary development consultancy Pegasus Group has strengthened its Scottish presence with two senior planning appointments and the launch of a new office in Glasgow city centre.
Colin Lavety has joined the business as senior director of planning, alongside planning director Andrew Woodrow.
The pair will lead the new Glasgow team and support Pegasus’ strategic expansion across Scotland, working with clients in sectors including energy and housing.
Both join Pegasus from Stantec, formerly Barton Willmore, where Colin spent the past ten years building and leading the planning team.
He brings nearly 25 years’ experience and has worked on a number of high-profile Scottish projects, including Aberdeen’s £420 million South Harbour expansion and major wind farm and mixed-use regeneration schemes.
Colin will also oversee the continued growth of Pegasus’ planning teams in both Glasgow and Edinburgh, responding to rising demand for planning expertise across Scotland.
He said: “It is an exciting time to be joining Pegasus who continue to go from strength-to-strength.
“I look forward to leading the growth of the Pegasus planning presence in Scotland as part of the consultancy’s talented multidisciplinary team, who are renowned in the industry.”
Douglas McCormick, chief executive of Pegasus Group, added: “This significant growth of our presence in Scotland aligns perfectly with Pegasus’ long-term vision and strategic growth plans.
“With the senior appointments of Colin and Andrew, this new office in Glasgow will further our ambitions in Scotland, which are in lockstep with rising client demand.”
