S&W appoints executive pay leader
Professional services group S&W has strengthened its employee solutions team with the appointment of Marcus Peaker as practice leader for executive compensation, based in London.
Marcus joins the business with more than 20 years’ experience advising on executive remuneration.
He was formerly head of PwC’s executive compensation skills group, where he worked with FTSE-listed companies on the design and delivery of cash and share-based incentive arrangements.
Marcus’ expertise includes advising remuneration committees, supporting shareholder engagement and governance requirements, and guiding businesses through complex pre-IPO remuneration challenges.
He has advised boards across multiple jurisdictions including the UK, Ireland, the US, Australia and South Africa, working with organisations such as The Berkeley Group, Ocado and Watches of Switzerland.
Marcus said: “S&W is building something dynamic and ambitious, and I’m looking forward to playing a key role in driving the growth and impact of its employee solutions practice.
“Organisations today face complex remuneration challenges, and I look forward to helping clients design structures that are effective, responsible, and aligned with long-term value creation.”
Marcus’ appointment strengthens S&W’s growing employee solutions team within business tax, as demand increases for specialist advice on executive pay and incentive structures.
Alexander Simpson, partner at S&W, added: “We are delighted to welcome Marcus to S&W.
“His deep technical expertise, commercial perspective and long-standing board advisory experience significantly strengthen our employee solutions team.
“As organisations navigate increasing scrutiny around remuneration and incentives, Marcus’s leadership will be instrumental in supporting our clients with practical, transparent, and forward‑looking solutions.”
