S&W appoints new Bristol tax partner
Fast-growing professional services group S&W has appointed Alexandra Bray as a partner in its business tax team, based in Bristol.
Alexandra brings more than 15 years of experience advising leadership teams on complex commercial and transactional tax matters across a wide range of sectors.
She rejoins S&W following four and a half years at KPMG, having also held roles at PwC.
Alexandra’s appointment forms part of continued investment in S&W’s senior Bristol team, with several recent partner hires and promotions strengthening the firm’s regional leadership.
She will focus on enhancing S&W’s business tax presence across the South West, working closely with colleagues nationally to build market relationships and deliver strategic advice to clients.
Alexandra said: “I am delighted to be re-joining S&W at such an exciting point in its growth journey.
“The firm has an exceptional reputation for supporting ambitious businesses, and I look forward to working with clients across Bristol and the South West to deliver commercially grounded advice and support businesses as they navigate pivotal moments in their growth journey.”
The move reflects S&W’s ongoing expansion as it builds a leading advisory platform for businesses at every stage of growth.
Katherine Colledge, partner and head of Bristol business tax, S&W, added: “It’s fantastic to have Alexandra on board and I’m very much looking forward to working with her again.
“She has a genuinely client-focused approach that aligns perfectly with us at S&W, and her energy and experience will be a real asset to the team as we continue to strengthen our presence in the South West.”
Helen Bassett, regional managing partner for Bristol, added: “We are thrilled to welcome Alexandra back to our growing Bristol office.
“Her appointment comes during a busy period of significant investment in our senior team, with a number of new partners joining and progressing within the business, including recent appointments such as Graham Charlton and the promotions of Lynne Blakey and Sabial Hanif.
“I’m also proud that of the 14 Partners we now have in our office, seven are women – a testament to our commitment to building a diverse and inclusive Bristol leadership team.
“Our Women in Business series is another example of how we champion diversity, inclusion and development across the region, and Alexandra’s leadership will further strengthen this focus.
“Alexandra’s background, advisory capability, and collaborative approach make her a fantastic addition to the team.”
