Turley appoints landscape planning director
Independent advisory firm Turley has appointed Charlotte Mimms as a director in its heritage, townscape and landscape team, supporting the growth of its landscape planning expertise.
Charlotte joins the firm from fabrik, where she was technical director of landscape planning, bringing more than 16 years’ experience working predominantly in the residential sector.
Her background includes advising on large-scale settlement extensions, grey belt schemes and site promotions across the UK.
Based in Turley’s London office, Charlotte will work across projects nationwide, providing specialist expertise in landscape appraisals, landscape and visual impact assessments, and planning appeals.
She said: “Turley has an excellent reputation in the industry and I am delighted to be joining the team at a pivotal time for landscape planning and grey belt appraisals.
“I look forward to working with colleagues and clients to help shape thriving developments.”
Charlotte’s appointment further strengthens Turley’s expanding landscape planning service and complements the continued growth of its wider heritage and townscape offering, as the team continues to build capacity across the UK.
Joanna Ede, director and head of landscape and VIA, added: “Charlotte joins us at a time when we’re seeing a sustained increase in market demand for landscape planning and a landscape-led approach to development, including a growing focus on grey belt opportunities.
“We’re thrilled to have Charlotte as part of the team and she will play a crucial role in strengthening our ability to deliver exceptional heritage, townscape and landscape services to our clients.”
