Vypr appoints chief product officer
Manchester-based technology business Vypr has appointed Gary Bennion as chief product officer, strengthening its senior team as it continues to invest in its product intelligence platform.
Gary will lead product, engineering and design, bringing these functions together to accelerate innovation and research and development.
His appointment supports the continued evolution of Vypr’s self-serve research platform, including Vypr Predict, which helps global consumer brands, retailers and manufacturers make faster, data-led product decisions.
A product leader and technology entrepreneur, Gary brings deep experience scaling SaaS platforms. He previously co-founded CloudM, whose technology is used by organisations including Netflix, Spotify and Uber, and later joined employee experience platform Haiilo, helping shape product strategy in a high-growth environment.
Gary said: “Vypr is at an exciting stage of its scale-up journey as it is continuing to attract investment and has a clear plan of where that will be used.
“The innovation, research and development capability will further strengthen the product intelligence platform and I am joining an incredible, passionate team who fully understand product development and what will help our customers the most.”
Gary’s appointment reflects Vypr’s ambition to expand its platform capability for UK and international customers, including further growth across Europe, Australia and the US.
Chris Williams, chief executive at Vypr, added: “Gary’s calibre and experience of scaling successful global tech businesses further strengthens our leadership team.
“2026 is set to be another exciting year of growth for Vypr as we evolve our product intelligence platform and support more of the world’s most popular consumer brands to launch successful products.”
