Partnership aims to modernise manufacturing

A German industrial software provider is strengthening its UK presence through a new partnership aimed at improving manufacturing performance and efficiency.

CONTACT Software has partnered with Sheffield-based TJ Digital Systems to deliver end-to-end digital solutions for manufacturers across the United Kingdom.

The collaboration brings together CONTACT’s PLM, MES and IIoT technologies with TJ Digital Systems’ expertise in systems integration, digital consultancy and performance improvement within the UK manufacturing sector.

Bosses say the partnership will focus on helping manufacturers streamline engineering and production processes by improving data connectivity, visibility and collaboration across teams.

CONTACT’s modular Elements platform enables businesses to integrate product development and manufacturing data into a single system, supporting cloud deployment, AI-driven optimisation and gradual, low-code expansion.

Dimitri Baumtrok, head of international business at CONTACT Software, said: “The UK manufacturing sector is setting a strong pace in digital transformation, and we are excited to support this momentum together with TJ Digital Systems.

“By combining our Elements platform with TJ’s deep local expertise and proven delivery capabilities, we enable manufacturers to connect the top floor with the shop floor, accelerate time-to-value, and achieve measurable operational impact.

“This partnership is a powerful step in scaling our partner ecosystem and bringing integrated, AI-driven PLM, MES, and IIoT solutions closer to customers across the UK.”

As CONTACT’s regional partner, TJ Digital Systems will support customers from initial consultancy and needs analysis through to deployment and long-term support.

The approach is designed to connect people, data and technology, helping manufacturers adopt leaner, more efficient processes while future-proofing operations in an increasingly competitive market.

Tim Shelley, chief executive of TJ Digital Systems, added: “We are thrilled to partner with CONTACT Software to bring the Elements digitalisation platform to manufacturers across the UK.

“This collaboration enables UK manufacturers to streamline processes, improve operational visibility, and respond faster to market demands.”
