UA92 strengthens board leadership
University Academy 92 (UA92) has appointed Collette Roche to its board as it continues to build its senior leadership capability.
Collette, who was recently appointed chief executive officer for new stadium development at Manchester United, brings extensive executive and non-executive experience across major UK organisations, including roles with Ford Motor Company, Siemens, United Utilities and Manchester Airport Group.
She joined Manchester United in 2018 as chief operating officer, becoming the first woman to hold the role in the club’s history.
Her appointment follows a period of strong growth for UA92, with rising student numbers and improving financial performance, and supports the institution’s commitment to industry-led, accessible education.
Collette will provide strategic and operational expertise to support UA92’s continued development as it builds closer links between higher education, business and regional talent pipelines.
She said: “UA92’s mission to widen access to higher education and develop industry-ready talent is something that I strongly support.
“Being part of the board provides an opportunity to contribute to an organisation that is making a real difference, and I am proud to be a part of that.”
Marnie Millard, chair of the board at UA92, added: “Collette brings a wealth of experience from some of the UK’s most influential organisations and her contribution will be hugely important as we continue to grow and ensure higher education is accessible to all.
“This is a pivotal moment for UA92 as it graduates from a start-up to a profitable institution.”
