Creative studio launches women-focused podcast
A female-led creative studio is launching a new podcast designed to explore how ambition, creativity and real life collide for women building businesses and careers they care about.
THEY SAY STUDIOS has unveiled What They Say, a podcast aimed at women navigating work, leadership and life in the digital age.
Hosted by co-founders Amy-Lee Cowey-Small and Jessica Ashman, the series focuses on honest conversations around building meaningful careers without losing sight of personal priorities.
Each 40-minute episode blends candid discussion with cultural insight, covering topics such as remote leadership, money, representation, friendship in business, reinvention and motherhood.
The format is intended to reflect the realities of modern working lives, particularly for women balancing ambition with everyday pressures.
Amy-Lee said: “People see the highlights of creative and digital careers, not the everyday decisions and questions behind them.
“WHAT THEY SAY is where we talk about the briefs no one writes down but everyone is living through.”
Co-host and co-founder Jess added: “We wanted something that feels like smart, funny therapy for women who are ambitious and building full lives alongside their work.
“It is not a pitch for the studio.
“It is a space to be honest about the money, the ambition and the belief it takes to keep going, while finding a balance that works, too.”
The first season opens with the founders reflecting on growing a fast-moving business together before welcoming a range of guest contributors.
These include hospitality leader Ayo Akinsete, brand builder turned drinks founder Amy Rollings, and former investment banker and beauty entrepreneur Nnenna Onuba.
What They Say launches on Tuesday, February 19 across all major podcast platforms, supported by video and social content shared via YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn, as THEY SAY STUDIOS expands its creative output beyond client work.
