Window Supply frames national expansion
A window and door manufacturer is unlocking national growth by expanding its footprint, broadening its services and investing in digital capability.
West Lothian-based Window Supply Company has continued its rapid expansion with new branches in Inverness, Lincoln and Manchester, alongside the launch of a new online ordering division.
Bosses say the move is designed to help the manufacturer reach new markets and give customers greater flexibility when placing orders, while speeding up delivery times.
They add the company has also expanded into installation services for the public and energy sectors, supporting new build and retrofit projects including social and affordable housing.
Duncan Murray, chief executive of Window Supply Company, said: “The rapid expansion of our business is a testament to the high-quality service and innovative manufacturing we offer our customers, as well as the hard work of our team.
“The huge demand we’ve seen has spurred the transition of Window Supply Company into new business areas, each with their own compelling offering.
“Our new public and energy sector branch allows us to address important concerns in these key areas – such as in the new build or affordable housing markets – and our online platform enables us to tap into new markets and enhance the accessibility of our services.
“Despite a tough operating environment, we’re really proud of how far we’ve come since our beginnings in 2019, and BGF’s support has been invaluable.
“There’s a lot more to come as we enter the next phase of our growth strategy and continue to identify opportunities on the horizon.”
Founded in 2019, the PVCu windows and doors manufacturer has grown into a national operation with 12 trade counters across the UK and a client base that includes major brands such as B&Q.
Over the past six years, headcount has risen from 26 to 212 employees, with revenues increasing more than sixfold.
Its growth has been facilitated by a multi-million-pound investment from BGF in 2020 and the launch of Zero90, a high-performance product designed to improve energy efficiency and cut carbon emissions.
Graham Clarke, regional portfolio partner at BGF, added: “BGF has supported Window Supply Company since 2020, and we’re pleased to see the business achieving these important milestones as part of its ongoing growth strategy.
“The team has broadened the business model in response to the level of demand from existing and new customers, setting up a strong platform for future growth.”
