Source marks anniversary with client milestone
A Leeds-based marketing communications agency is celebrating 25 years in business after securing its 175th retained client.
Source Marketing has welcomed London office furniture consultant Collaborate Furniture to its list of clients, marking a milestone almost a quarter of a century after Guiseley-based PPS Packaging became the agency’s very first account.
Founded in 2001 by Peter Downey and Steve Clark and today headed by Daniel Kennedy, Chris Hughes and Martha Phillips, the agency has evolved from a traditional PR firm into a full-service performance-led marketing business spanning social media, PPC, SEO and digital PR.
Over the past 25 years, Source has delivered high-profile campaigns, set Guinness World Records for clients and supported major fundraising initiatives, building a reputation across regional, national and international markets.
Daniel, who joined the company as a consultant in 2001, said: “Longevity and PR don’t always go hand in hand, but Source has certainly bucked that trend – both as a longstanding agency and for the length of service we’ve provided a number of our clients.
“We’ve had four clients we’ve worked with for well over a decade each and a number who are now well beyond five years.”
“We take real pride in the fact we don’t just win new business, we keep it.
“And to do that you need to consistently deliver outstanding results, while ensuring you stay several steps ahead of market changes in order to deliver clients the very latest services.
“If asked for the reason why Source has stood the test of time, the answer would be a relatively simple one – we’ve never sat still.
“We’ve always looked for new opportunities and have never shied away from introducing new services; even if it’s meant learning new skills ourselves.”
