RG strengthens tax leadership team
North of England-based business advisory firm Ryecroft Glenton (RG) has strengthened its tax service line with the appointment of Laura Dickson as director.
Laura brings more than 20 years’ experience in private client tax, having trained at PwC where she gained Chartered Tax Adviser status.
She has since held senior leadership roles at regional independent firms, most recently Haines Watts.
Her expertise includes private client tax planning, inheritance tax reviews and succession planning, working closely with individuals, families and financial advisers to deliver aligned, long-term strategies.
Laura said: “RG has a strong reputation for building long-term client relationships and providing genuinely tailored advice.
“That client-led approach was a major attraction for me, alongside the firm’s clear commitment to personal and professional development.
“The strength of the client base and the collaborative culture across service lines means we can provide well-rounded advice that considers the bigger picture.
“I’m looking forward to supporting clients and contributing to the continued growth of the tax offering.”
Laura’s arrival further enhances RG’s 23-strong tax team, which spans compliance, advisory and specialist services, as the firm continues to invest in senior expertise to support clients navigating an increasingly complex tax environment.
Emma Reilly, tax partner at RG, added: “We are delighted to welcome Laura to the firm.
“Her extensive experience in private client tax and her advisory mindset will further strengthen the depth of expertise within our tax service line.
“As tax matters become increasingly complex, clients value clear, practical advice. Laura’s appointment enhances our ability to provide proactive support and reinforces our commitment to delivering high quality advisory services that help clients plan confidently for the future.”
