Close Brothers boosts regional finance team
Close Brothers Property Finance has appointed Shon Pallickaleth as business development director to expand its presence across the Midlands, South West and Wales.
Shon joins the property finance specialist from Lloyds Banking Group, where he spent 15 years, most recently as relationship director leading its real estate business across the South West of England and South Wales.
During his career, he has originated and executed complex commercial and residential transactions and facilitated more than £1 billion in senior debt funding.
In his new role, Shon will support privately owned developers and housebuilders with tailored funding solutions across residential, build-to-rent and purpose-built student accommodation schemes.
He said: “I’m delighted to be joining Close Brothers Property Finance at a time of continued regional growth for the business.
“Close Brothers has a long-standing reputation for building trusted, long-term relationships with customers, and I’m looking forward to working closely with developers to provide tailored funding solutions that support the delivery of new schemes across the region.”
Shon’s appointment strengthens Close Brothers Property Finance’s regional capability as it continues to invest in experienced talent to support SME developers across the UK.
Phil Hooper, chief executive of Close Brothers Property Finance, added: “Shon’s appointment marks an important step in expanding our regional expertise and strengthening our presence across the Midlands, South West and Wales.
“As the business continues to grow, enhancing our coverage in key regional markets is a strategic priority for us.
“Shon brings a wealth of local market knowledge, strong client relationships and extensive real estate finance experience.
“He will play a vital role in supporting our customers and growing our portfolio in the region, particularly at a time of increased demand for flexible funding underpinned by local expertise.”
