Harley Haddow appoints Manchester director
Multi-disciplinary engineering consultancy Harley Haddow has appointed Paul Matthewman as regional director for civil and structural engineering in its Manchester office, strengthening its North West presence.
Paul, a chartered engineer with more than 14 years’ experience, will lead the growth of the firm’s civil and structural capability in the region.
His remit includes building the local team and supporting the continued expansion of the Manchester office.
Paul brings experience across commercial, healthcare, education and private client projects, alongside a strong track record in complex refurbishment and new-build schemes.
He said: “Harley Haddow has a very clear vision for how it wants to grow as a business and a genuinely positive, collaborative culture.
“The breadth of expertise across civil and structural, MEP and sustainability is a real strength - but the real differentiator is the fact that they are director-led. Clients can be assured that a specialist director will be closely overseeing every project.
“It is a great time to be joining the team and I hope to play a key role in growing the civil and structural offering while helping to develop the Manchester office more broadly.”
Paul’s appointment supports the launch of Harley Haddow’s civil and structural division in the North West as the consultancy continues to invest in regional leadership and integrated engineering services.
