HUB strengthens growth leadership
Calverley-headquartered full-service marketing agency HUB has appointed David Slater as growth director, reinforcing its client acquisition strategy.
David joins from McCann, where he served as group growth director, and has previously held senior growth roles at Havas and Search Laboratory.
He will lead new business development, promoting HUB’s integrated service offering to brands across multiple sectors.
David said: “HUB represents everything that is exciting about the independent agency scene right now: fast-paced, results-driven, and deeply passionate about client growth.
“After my time at McCann and Havas, the opportunity to take on a senior role in an agency that prioritises both accountability and integrated thinking was a natural next step.
“I’m looking forward to working alongside Rob and the team to drive the agency’s new business strategy and showcase why HUB is the go-to partner for ambitious brands looking to benefit from a tight integrated marketing strategy.”
David’s appointment follows a period of sustained expansion for the agency, including a 27 per cent increase in headcount during 2025, senior creative hires and a series of new client wins.
HUB’s recent growth has also been recognised with industry awards, reflecting continued momentum across its full-service marketing proposition.
HUB’s chief executive Rob Shaw added: “This appointment demonstrates our clear ambition to drive our recent period of growth into 2026 and beyond.
“Our integrated approach is grounded in a clear understanding that combining creative production with performance marketing pays remarkable dividends for brands looking to elevate their growth strategies, and we are excited to have someone of David’s calibre support us in telling the HUB story.”
