S&W strengthens forensic leadership
Professional services group S&W has appointed Chris Osborne as partner and co-head of its forensic services team, based in London.
Chris brings more than 25 years’ experience in forensic accounting, having previously established and led the forensic services practice at FRP. His expertise spans quantum expert witness work in litigation and arbitration, alongside investigations into fraud, bribery and corruption.
He has also advised on asset tracing and recovery, regulatory inquiries and compliance and risk matters across a range of sectors.
Chris said: “I am delighted to be joining S&W’s highly regarded forensic services team and also to work alongside the full service offering of the wider firm.
“As well as co-leading a team of fantastic colleagues, I look forward to continuing to serve clients on investigations, litigation and arbitration matters.”
David Alexander, partner and co-head of forensic services at S&W, added: “We are delighted to welcome Chris to the forensic services leadership team.
“His reputation in the market, deep technical expertise and extensive expert witness experience make him an exceptional addition to our practice.
“Chris’ track record in complex disputes, investigations and regulatory matters aligns perfectly with the growing needs of our clients.
“His appointment strengthens our ability to deliver high quality, insight driven forensic support across the UK and internationally, and he will play a pivotal role in the continued growth of our service line.”
John Rugman, head of advisory at S&W, added: “I am really pleased Chris will be taking over leadership of the S&W forensics practice from David Alexander during the course of 2026.
“The practice has doubled in size under David’s leadership, and we are excited that Chris will continue this momentum.
“We have an exciting growth plan for the practice that builds on our strong capabilities and adds further resource and specialisation and reinforces our reputation for quality and excellence.”
