JLA grows European presence with LDL deal

A West Yorkshire commercial equipment services provider has expanded into mainland Europe with the acquisition of a long-established Benelux operator.

Ripponden-based JLA Group has acquired LDL Group, extending its footprint across Belgium and the Netherlands as part of a long-term international growth strategy.

Founded more than 50 years ago, LDL delivers laundry, catering, meditech and heating services to care, housing, government and leisure facilities, managing almost 50,000 assets. 

Bosses say the deal creates a platform for further European expansion while strengthening JLA’s position in mission-critical services.

The LDL management team will join JLA as shareholders and continue to lead the business under the wider group structure.
