Willerby backs the Dyers’ caravan venture
A Yorkshire holiday homes manufacturer is stepping into the spotlight with a high-profile TV tie-in celebrating the great British caravan break.
Hull-headquartered Willerby partnered with Southern Counties Leisure to support publicity for The Dyers’ Caravan Park, a Sky original show following Danny Dyer and his daughter Dani as they invest in and run a holiday park in Kent.
The programme follows the pair as they work to revitalise Priory Hill and Nutts Farm Holiday Park on the Isle of Sheppey, tapping into the £7 billion holiday park market.
To mark the launch, Southern Counties Leisure supplied a luxury Willerby Gainsborough model for a media preview event in Hyde Park, London.
The holiday home provided a backdrop for interviews and filming with national media and content creators ahead of the series premiere.
Willerby, which celebrates its 80th anniversary in 2026, said the collaboration highlights the enduring appeal of British caravan holidays.
Peter Munk, chief executive of Willbery, said: “Everyone at Willerby is excited about The Dyers’ Caravan Park, as the series will play an important part in promoting caravan holidays, especially to younger audiences.
“It’s particularly timely to be part of such a great opportunity in 2026, during the year in which Willerby celebrates its 80 h anniversary and Southern Counties Leisure marks its 30th.
“What a fantastic way to celebrate both companies’ major milestones, by helping to generate publicity for a TV series shining a positive light on our industry.”
The series launches on Sky One and streaming service NOW on February 24, timed to coincide with peak holiday planning season as consumers begin considering spring and summer breaks.
