Azets appoints associate director in Wolverhampton
Azets has strengthened its Wolverhampton office with the appointment of James Bennett as associate director.
The accountancy and advisory firm has recruited James from S&W, bringing 20 years’ experience and particular expertise in technical accounting to its accounts and business advisory team.
His arrival further supports the growth of Azets’ Black Country presence, where the firm provides a full range of services including payroll, restructuring and insolvency, audit, debt advice, forensic accounting and cyber support.
James said: “My particular areas of expertise are technical advisory and preparation of consolidated financial statements.
“I thrive on the complexities of business acquisitions and have joined an ambitious company and an office with talent that serves the city and region with great skill.
“Azets’ reputation within the industry is impressive and its business advisory services team in Wolverhampton is first class.
“I will aim to further grow the service line and the client base and I am committed to providing my clients with accurate and timely financial information.”
Lee Meredith, office managing partner, added: “James has a great deal of experience not only in accountancy firms but on secondments to industry.
“This gives him insights and knowledge which will be of great value to our present and future clients.
“Our Wolverhampton office is one of several across the Midlands and the appointment displays Azets’ commitment to this important region.”
