Johnston Carmichael appoints Newcastle partner
Accountancy and business advisory firm Johnston Carmichael has appointed Gemma Gibson as audit partner in its Newcastle office, supporting continued growth in the North East.
Gemma joins from a Big Four firm, bringing almost 20 years’ experience progressing from graduate trainee to senior audit director.
She has led audits for large, complex groups and supported medium-sized and large private businesses across multiple sectors.
In her new role, she will lead audit in Newcastle, signing off audits and driving new client engagement as the 25-strong team continues to expand.
Gemma said: “The whole proposition for the Newcastle office really excited me, and I was genuinely inspired by the experience and enthusiasm within the team.
