Morro Partnerships appoints land director

Midlands-based developer Morro Partnerships has appointed Vinay Vadgama as land director to support its regional expansion.

Vinay brings more than a decade of experience in construction and development, with a focus on land acquisition, mixed-tenure housing and partnership-led schemes.

He has previously secured strategic brownfield and greenfield sites across the Midlands, working closely with local authorities and housing associations to deliver new homes with long-term social impact.

In his new role, he will lead Morro’s land acquisition programme, identifying and progressing opportunities that align with the business’s growth plans and commitment to affordable housing.

Vinay said: “Every site we acquire is an opportunity to give people the chance to be housed who otherwise wouldn’t be, and to make a meaningful difference in the community.

“Morro’s ambition and focus on putting communities first made it a compelling opportunity for me, and I’m thrilled to be joining the business at such a pivotal time in its growth.”

Vinay joins alongside new land manager Alex Loumidis as Morro strengthens its presence across the Midlands and continues to build partnerships with housing associations, councils and landowners.

Matt Moore, chief executive at Morro, added: “Vinay’s expertise in land acquisition and partnership working makes him a perfect fit for Morro’s growth ambitions.

“He understands that our partners are always front of mind and shares our commitment to creating social value through development.

“We are confident that his leadership will help us deliver more homes that meet the needs of the Midlands’ communities.”
