Paxon appoints business development manager
Paxon has appointed Ranjit Singh Nagra as business development manager as the newly formed third-party logistics brand strengthens its sales capability.
Based in Blackburn, Paxon was created by bringing together three specialist providers – Active Ants, Staci and Radial.
Ranjit brings more than 15 years’ experience in logistics, joining from Choice Logistics where he was UK and EMEA sales director. His career also includes roles at FedEx and Rico Logistics.
He will focus on growing Paxon’s client portfolio, with particular emphasis on expanding its presence in the auto spares sector, alongside its established work across ecommerce, cosmetics, medical devices and pharmaceuticals.
Ranjit said: “I was keen to join the team because of its proven expertise across Staci, Radial and Active Ants in managing complex, multi-supplier, multi-client, and multi-product operations across more than 90 logistics hubs in Europe, the USA, and Asia.
“The scale of the organisation, combined with its ongoing investment in infrastructure and innovation, creates a strong platform for delivering real commercial value for clients.
“I’m already enjoying working with the team as I settle into the role.”
Ranjit’s appointment follows a recent contract win with Waldencast Brands, supporting its UK and EU expansion.
Paxon is part of bnode, which operates in more than 200 countries worldwide.
Chief executive Wayne Chapman added: “Ranjit is a strong addition to our growing sales team.
“This is an important phase for our business as we expand into new markets and territories, and strengthening our sales capability was a considered step to support that growth.
“With his sector experience and proactive approach, Ranjit will play a key role in supporting our clients with precise, collaborative logistics solutions that help their brands perform well over the long term.”
