Red Helix appoints Risk Crew managing director

Aylesbury-based cyber security specialist Red Helix has appointed Simon Michie as managing director of Risk Crew, its information security governance, risk and compliance consultancy.

Simon joins following Risk Crew’s acquisition by Red Helix and will lead the next phase of growth, strengthening its cyber risk and assurance capabilities. 

He brings more than 30 years’ experience scaling technology-led businesses across digital infrastructure, cloud and managed services.

Most recently chief technology officer at Pulsant, Simon previously held the same role at Redcentric and has worked with PLC and private equity-backed organisations on growth and integration strategies.

In his new role, Simon will expand Risk Crew’s governance, risk and compliance offering, supporting clients across the full security lifecycle from risk assessment to protection, detection and incident response.
