RMT Technology grows Gosforth team
Gosforth-based IT specialist RMT Technology has appointed eight new team members as it continues to grow in response to rising client demand.
The technology arm of RMT Accountants & Business Advisors has welcomed Daniel Lisle and Brad Reeves as senior desk engineers, alongside Andrew McDonald and Josh McKay as desk engineers.
Caleb Errington and Megan Hindmarch join as account managers, with Ben Caygill appointed project engineer and Adam Grice leading the service desk.
Megan said: “From my first meeting here, it was clear that RMT Technology was a very ambitious business and it’s great to be coming on board at an early stage of its growth journey.
“It’s a very friendly and approachable team that has a lot of knowledge to share and is totally focussed on working in the best interests of our clients.”
The appointments follow the firm’s move into a new 1800sq ft office at its Gosforth headquarters and form part of plans to create 15 new roles over two years.
RMT Technology supports SMEs across the North of England with IT strategy, network infrastructure, cyber security and data management services as it continues to expand its regional footprint.
Stephen McNickle, commercial director at RMT Technology, added: “Bringing in the right calibre and number of staff is a crucial part of servicing the new clients that we’re winning and demonstrating how new technologies can make a tangible difference to their operational and financial performance.
“Our new recruits bring a wide range of impressive skills and experience with them, and we’re expecting to see more people joining the team through the coming year as we work towards our growth targets.
“Effective deployment of technology and security solutions has never been more important for businesses across every sector, and we’re seeing this reflected in the number and range of new clients that we’re bringing on board.”
