Novuna appoints sustainable energy manager
Novuna Business Finance, headquartered in Staines-upon-Thames, has appointed Stirling Habbitts as senior manager in its sustainable energy and green infrastructure finance team to support the UK’s transition to a low carbon economy.
Stirling brings 18 years’ experience in renewable energy and infrastructure, spanning banking, financial advisory and project development.
He is recognised across the market for delivering tailored finance solutions and building strong industry relationships.
In his new role, he will help expand Novuna’s project portfolio, working with developers, investors and asset managers across technologies including battery storage, solar PV, onshore wind and electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
Stirling said: “I’m delighted to be joining Novuna Business Finance at a time of significant opportunity for the sustainable energy and green infrastructure sector.
“Novuna’s innovative product range and flexible approach make it well placed to support businesses delivering the next generation of green energy and infrastructure.”
Stirling’s appointment strengthens Novuna Business Finance’s capability in sustainable finance as it continues to invest in supporting businesses pursuing net-zero objectives.
Philippe Bazin, head of sustainable energy and green infrastructure, added: “Stirling’s career has spanned multiple stages of the sustainable project lifecycle, giving him a comprehensive understanding of the commercial, financial and operational challenges developers in the sector face.
“With demand for sustainable energy solutions accelerating, Stirling further enhances our expanding capability to support businesses in their green energy and infrastructure ambitions.”
