Laundryheap set to clean up overseas

A London-based on-demand laundry provider has expanded into four new international markets as part of its most ambitious growth drive to date.

Laundryheap has launched services in Colombia, Mexico, Malaysia and Scotland, adding Bogota, Mexico City, Kuala Lumpur and Edinburgh to its network.

The move takes the business to 28 cities across 16 countries, including the US, Singapore, the Netherlands, the UK, the UAE and France.

Founded to offer 24-hour collection and return of laundry and dry cleaning via its app and website, the company has now served more than 400,000 customers and processed over 110 million items globally.

It has also completed seven acquisitions in the past three years, strengthening its footprint in key markets.

Deyan Dimitrov, chief executive and founder at Laundryheap, said: “Our launches into Colombia, Mexico, Malaysia and Scotland mark another major milestone in Laundryheap’s journey to becoming the world’s most trusted name in on-demand laundry and dry cleaning.

“From day one, our mission has been to make laundry effortless for customers wherever they are - delivering speed, convenience and consistent high quality at the tap of a button.

“Expanding into these vibrant markets reflects both the strength of our technology platform and the growing global demand for reliable, 24-hour turnaround services.

“As we continue to scale, we remain focused on innovation – from overnight delivery to new partnerships with local businesses – ensuring we set the standard for what modern laundry services should look like.”

Laundryheap works with hospitality and commercial partners alongside individual customers and has raised £17 million in funding to support expansion.

Further launches across the US and GCC region are planned as it continues to scale its international operations.
