BTG Eddisons appoints healthcare director
Property consultancy BTG Eddisons has appointed Peter Deehan as director across its South Coast offices in Fareham, Bournemouth and the Isle of Wight to strengthen its healthcare advisory capability.
Peter brings more than 40 years’ experience in the property sector, including 25 years specialising in commercial property and construction.
He joins from Simpson Hilder Associates and previously served as a director at Savills, advising on healthcare and commercial development projects nationwide.
Peter said: “Joining BTG Eddisons at such a pivotal point in the firm’s growth is an exciting step and I’m looking forward to helping clients deliver high-quality, future-proofed facilities that support changing clinical and community needs.”
Peter’s appointment supports growing demand from NHS trusts, GP partnerships and private operators for investment in medical and community healthcare facilities.
BTG Eddisons operates nationally across commercial, industrial and public sector markets and employs more than 500 people across 35 offices.
Ian Harrington, who heads BTG Eddisons’ national building and project consultancy team, added: “Peter’s experience in the healthcare built environment is a significant boost to our capability.
“His knowledge of the sector, combined with his commercial and technical expertise, will help us support clients as the demand for modern, compliant and sustainable healthcare accommodation grows.”
