Redrow appoints North West managing director
Homebuilder Redrow has promoted Phil Reeves to managing director of its North West division, based at Daresbury Park.
Phil has served as interim managing director for the past six months and joined Redrow in 2020.
He progressed from construction manager to head of construction and construction director before stepping into the senior leadership role.
Prior to joining Redrow, he spent 16 years with Taylor Wimpey, advancing from assistant site manager to production manager.
In his new role, Phil will oversee Redrow’s operations and developments across the North West, where the business is currently delivering 11 sites, including four garden villages.
Phil said: “I’m very happy to be stepping into this role.
“The reason I wanted to join Redrow was because I knew about the company’s commitment to developing its people and knew that if I wanted to achieve my ultimate career goal, then Redrow was the company for me.”
“I’ve gained so much knowledge and experience since joining the industry.
“Every day is different.
“I do have more days in the office now, but I still enjoy getting out on site.
“I like to be outside watching developments take shape and speaking to the team, the contractors and suppliers.
“I work with a great team here; we all have the same ethos and strive for the same results.
“We have great pride in Redrow’s product, which speaks for itself.
“And it’s not just about the product but the locations that we build in too, creating thriving and sustainable communities for future generations.”
Phil added: “For anyone looking at getting into the new homes industry, there are so many opportunities here at Redrow, from trade apprenticeships to graduate schemes.
“I didn’t go to university, instead I built my experience on the job and gained my qualifications with the support of Redrow and my previous employer.
“It’s a fantastic industry that I would encourage anyone to join.”
