Shepherd Commercial promotes director
Birmingham and Solihull-based commercial property advisory firm Shepherd Commercial has promoted Ross Bendall to director as it strengthens its senior leadership team.
Ross joined the independent chartered surveyors in 2024 as associate director and now works alongside existing directors Kaine Arkinson and Chris Peutherer.
He brings more than 30 years’ experience in commercial property, having qualified as a chartered surveyor in 1992 and advised on acquisitions, disposals, sales and lettings across office, industrial and retail sectors.
Ross said: “I am delighted to take on the role of director at Shepherd Commercial.
“Since joining the firm, I have been impressed by the depth of expertise within the team and the quality of our client relationships.
“Alongside Kaine and Chris, I look forward to continuing to provide longstanding and new clients with clear, commercially focused advice and the highest standards of professionalism across the commercial property sector.”
Ross’ promotion comes during a period of growth for the Midlands firm, which brought 575,000sq ft of commercial space to market last year and moved into larger headquarters in Solihull as it marked its 20th anniversary.
Shepherd Commercial provides agency, management and valuation services across the region.
Managing director Kaine Arkinson added: “Ross brings considerable experience and market insight to our board.
“His promotion reflects both his contribution since joining the firm and our continued commitment to delivering director-led, strategic advice to our clients.
“As we enter our third decade in business, strengthening our leadership team ensures we continue to support clients across all kinds of commercial property instructions throughout the region with the best possible advice in an increasingly complex and competitive market.”
