Tell Us North appoints business manager
Newcastle-based community interest company Tell Us North CIC has appointed Avish Johnson as business manager to strengthen its leadership team.
Operating across the North East, the organisation works with local communities and public and voluntary sector partners to shape health, wellbeing and social care services.
Avish joins after six years at EY, where he specialised in Australian taxation and managed financial compliance for clients.
In his new role, he will lead on finance and business operations, supporting the organisation’s continued growth and long-term sustainability.
Avish said: “This is completely different from my previous role.
“In a charity and community-focused organisation, you’re giving something back to society.
“That makes a real difference.
“It’s about listening to people, understanding their concerns and helping find solutions.
“That’s far more fulfilling than simply working behind a computer screen.”
Tell Us North CIC delivers the Healthwatch Newcastle and Healthwatch Gateshead services, ensuring local people’s experiences help inform the development of health and care provision across the region.
