Adderstone Nova wins rooftop contract

A London-based fit-out specialist has secured a contract to deliver a rooftop scheme at a prime West End address.

Adderstone Nova, part of Newcastle-headquartered property development and investment company Adderstone Group, has been appointed by global investment group Unity Land to create a rooftop terrace at Byron House on St James’s Street.

Works are now underway at the site, which sits within the St James’s Conservation Area.

Bosses say the scheme will introduce a redesigned rooftop space aimed at enhancing facilities for occupiers of the building, which is home to several high-profile businesses including the UK headquarters of Christian Louboutin and Peninsula Energy.

The project is being delivered within a fully occupied building in a sensitive heritage setting, requiring careful phasing and logistics management.

Philippa Gray, shareholder director of Adderstone Nova, said: “Having started my journey with Adderstone in 2015 as a placement student, it is incredibly rewarding to now be leading Adderstone Nova alongside my colleagues Adam and Johnny.

“We share the same high standards, values and ambitions that define the wider Group.

“We're bringing that approach into the specialist fit-out sector where detail, collaboration and quality matter more than ever.”

A spokesperson for Unity Land added: “We are committed to the continuous enhancement of our assets and the working environments for our occupiers.

“Adderstone Nova demonstrated a clear understanding of the operational and logistical considerations involved to deliver a project of this nature and provided practical solutions.

“We look forward to working closely with the team as the project progresses.”
