The Event Co moves to bigger base at ABPS
An Essex-based events production company has relocated to a larger purpose-built facility as it continues its growth trajectory.
The Event Co has moved into a new 16,500sq ft unit at Airport Business Park Southend (ABPS).
The company delivers audio visual production for major clients including London Fashion Week, Tommy Hilfiger, Very and The Shard, and supplies leading exhibition venues such as London ExCeL and The NEC.
The new premises include a dedicated demonstration space, which bosses say will allow clients to experience the latest event technology first-hand.
Jamie Clarke, director at The Event Co, said: “Moving into our new building marks an exciting phase in our growth.
“The space gives us greater capacity to service our expanding client base, while providing a best-in-class environment for our team.”
Airport Business Park Southend is being developed by HBD, part of Henry Boot, in partnership with Southend City Council.
Located next to London Southend Airport, the scheme has become a key commercial hub, with more than 370,000sq ft delivered to date and further phases planned.
Agents for the park are Dedman Gray, Kemsley and Cushman and Wakefield.
Hamer Boot, interim managing director at HBD, added: “The Event Co has been part of the Airport Business Park Southend community since 2023 and has grown considerably.
“Supporting ambitious businesses like The Event Co is exactly what the scheme was created for, providing high-quality space that enables companies to scale, create jobs and invest in their future.
“We’re pleased to see them take this next step and look forward to supporting their continued success at ABPS.”
