Blueprint submitted for 240-affordable home hub
Plans have been unveiled for a 240-affordable home scheme.
Habiko has submitted a blueprint to deliver a Warrington development.
Bosses say the venture – earmarked for the town’s Academy Way – will include two six-storey apartment buildings featuring one and two-bed dwellings.
Warrington Borough Council is set to make a decision on the plans in the coming weeks.
Habiko is an affordable homes partnership between Pension Insurance Corporation, Muse and Homes England.
Joel Chandler, Muse senior development manager, said: “We’re pleased to be bringing Academy Way forward as part of our commitment to delivering affordable, sustainable homes for rent where they’re needed most.
“The opportunity at Warrington will help address the growing demand for quality housing.”
The development has been designed by AHR Architects, with Gillespies providing landscape support and interdisciplinary consultancy Stantec assisting Habiko on pre-planning work.
