Facilities management firm cleans up with retail deal
A facilities management firm has swept to a multi-million-pound shopping centre deal.
The Westgrove Group has secured a contract to maintain Basingstoke’s Festival Place.
The three-year agreement includes cleaning, security, waste and structural maintenance support.
Bosses say the Warrington-based operator will boost “Festival Place’s commitment to maintaining an exceptional, safe and welcoming environment for millions of annual visitors”.
Glenn Wilson, group managing director at The Westgrove Group, said: “We are incredibly proud to begin this new partnership.
“Festival Place is a vibrant and high‑profile destination, and we look forward to bringing our service standards, colleague development programmes and community‑focused approach to the centre.”
James Nelson, associate at Festival Place management company Estama, added: “The Westgrove Group’s track record in delivering high‑quality service at high footfall destinations, and its commitment to innovation, colleague engagement and ESG, make it an excellent fit.”
