Salko UK appoints executive assistant
Mechanical and engineering contractor Salko UK has appointed Kathryn Harman as executive assistant to support its senior leadership team.
In the role, Kathryn will oversee day-to-day executive coordination, streamline internal processes and act as a central point of contact across departments.
She said: “I’m thrilled to join Salko UK during such a pivotal time.
“The scale of the projects, the ambition of the leadership team and the family-oriented culture of the business really stood out to me.
“I look forward to supporting Dean and the wider team by streamlining operations and ensuring the business continues to run smoothly.
“It’s a real privilege to be part of a company with such a strong family culture and long-standing industry heritage.”
Kathryn’s appointment comes during a period of growth for the East Yorkshire-headquartered business, which employed a record 161 people across its projects in the past year.
Salko UK provides mechanical and engineering expertise across sectors including mining, energy and industrial, working with major energy companies across the UK and Europe.
Dean Murphy, chief executive of Salko UK, added: “Kathryn’s appointment strengthens our leadership support as we continue to expand across the UK and Europe.
“Her organisational expertise and leadership experience will be vital in keeping the business running smoothly and supporting our next phase of growth.”
